Louth club tries something different with Wee-cological gardening fundraiser

GAA clubs around the country are coming together to fundraise during the Covid-19 pandemic and one club has come up with a novel idea to help Pieta House.

The initiative is being run by St Joseph’s GFC, Dromiskin and supported by the Louth County Board.

The concept is that people will enter a gardening / bio diversity competition under different categories. Entries will be by photograph and the entry fee is a donation to Pieta House.

It is hoped it will help to give the local community a sense of togetherness in this time of separation, while also raising money for a good cause.

A Go Fund Me page has been set up at https://www.gofundme.com/f/gardening-for-pieta-house with all monies raised going to the charity.
