Mickey Harte has issued an apology after some of Tyrone’s players were filmed singing a rebel song on the team bus on Saturday evening.

As the Red Hands made their way home following their Round Four Qualifier victory over Cavan in Clones, a parade organised by the Lisgenny Flute Band passed their bus on Main Street, Aughnacloy and video footage has emerged of some of the players singing reel ‘Come Out, Ye Black And Tans’.

DUP leader Arlene Foster called on Tyrone GAA to “deal with the matter in a sensible way”. Red Hands boss Mickey Harte released a statement through the BBC apologising to “anyone who has been offended by the unacceptable behaviour of some of the panel on Saturday evening. The matter is being dealt with in-house and we won't be making any further comment.”
