Paul McLoughlin has stepped down as Wexford senior football manager following today's qualifier exit at the hands of Derry.

The Kildare native was appointed to take over from Seamus McEnaney in late 2017 but the Model County's 0-10 to 4-16 reversal to the Oak Leafers signals the end of his tenure.

It has been a year to forget for Wexford football folk following their Leinster SFC defeat to Louth and third from bottom finish in the Allianz FL DIvision 4 table.
