IT Tralee made light work of IT Sligo in today’s Sigerson Cup round 2 clash at John Mitchels GAA grounds.

The hosts got the disappointment of last Sunday’s defeat to Ulster University out of their system with an emphatic 6-20 to 1-9 success.

The game was effectively over as a contest at the halfway stage with the Kerry college 5-12 to 0-3 to the good.

Early goals from Conor Keane (2) and James Duggan set the tone for the one-sided contest.

Liam Brosnan's charges will now face St Mary's, Belfast in the next round.
