They may have eight All-Ireland SHC titles between them and a combined age of 75, but for two former Kilkenny stars, the love of the game carries on for their club.
O'Loughlin Gaels duo Martin Comerford and Brian Hogan have recently returned to training with the city side as the Kilkenny SHL/SHC resumes after an 18-week break.
Hogan turns 37 next week, while Comerford is 39 years of age and despite having trophy laden careers, the hunger for more is still there.
On Saturday, O'Loughlin Gaels are back in action with a tough clash against Ballyhale Shamrocks, but they will have plenty of experience in the side.
This year, Comerford was part of the Meath hurling management team, but he is not ready to focus fully on that just yet.
