GAA jerseys in Vogue thanks to Birr's Oisin

A young hurler from Offaly is helping to make GAA jerseys fashionable after featuring in the August edition of Vogue Paris magazine.

Nineteen-year-old model Oisin Murphy sports the Cushendall colours complete with hurl and helmet in the fashion shoot. It comes after he captained Birr to victory in the 7-a-side GAA Battle of Champions tournament in Co. Kilkenny last weekend. The tournament pitted former All-Ireland club champions against each other.

While Oisin is a relative newcomer to the modelling scene, his older brother Ronan has been in the business for a number of years.
