Fermanagh midfielder Ryan Jones admits that it feels good to be still in the hunt for promotion.

If Fermanagh had lost to Armagh last weekend and Westmeath had beaten Longford, their promotion hopes would have been out of their hands, but instead, they face into a winner takes all clash against Longford next Sunday afternoon.

A hard earned point against Armagh sees the Erne County still battling for promotion to Division Two and Jones admitted to the Fermanagh Herald that they are looking forward to what will be a tough test against the Midlanders, especially in their own backyard.

"They are sharp and they are very hard to beat down there," said the towering midfielder. "We played them a couple of years ago and they turned us over in Longford.

"They still have something to play for. It's a massive game for us and for them and they have home advantage. We know it's going to be a serious test, but at least we have something to play for."
