DIT advanced to the quarter-final stages of the Sigerson Cup courtesy of a six point win over IT Carlow at Grangegorman this afternoon.
A first-half goal by Mayo's Conor Loftus sent Billy O'Loughlin's charges on the road to a 1-11 to 0-8 success.
They took a 1-5 to 0-3 lead into the break and now turn their attention to a last eight clash with David Clifford and IT Tralee.
The eight quarter-finalists will be decided following tonight's game between DCU and Oisin McConville's DkIT outfit which has been switched to Darver (7pm).
