Cork managers John Meyler and Ronan McCarthy have both named experimental teams featuring plenty of new faces for Sunday's pre-season clashes.

Meyler's starting 15 to face Clare in the Munster SHL at Cusack Park (throw-in 2pm) shows seven changes from last weekend's opening round loss to Limerick, with 2017 minor star Evan Sheehan among the newcomers.

Meanwhile, the Rebel County footballers have made a total of ten changes from last July's qualifier defeat to Mayo for their 2018 opener against Waterford at the Gold Coast Resort, Ballinacourty, Dungarvan (throw-in 2pm).

The McGrath Cup fixture will be McCarthy's first competitive game in charge of the Cork senior footballers.
