Crossmaglen Rangers boss Oisin McConville says his side cannot afford to ship too many goals against Castlebar Mitchel's tomorrow.

The Armagh champions are currently chasing a record-equalling seventh All-Ireland club SFC title, with their Mayo counterparts standing in the way of reaching the big stage next month, and McConville knows that the westerners have the firepower to cause them damage.

"They have players who have done the business for Mayo and won't baulk at the challenge," said McConville in today's Belfast Telegraph.

"We have to keep things as tight as we can. We cannot afford to let Castlebar off the leash because they have already shown that they can kill sides off.

"If they get a goal or two, we would find ourselves chasing the game and that's something we are very anxious to avoid."

At the other end, Armagh star Jamie Clarke, Michael McNamee and the Kernan brothers Stephen and Tony are set to feature in McConville's attack tomorrow at Kingspan Breffni Park (throw-in 6.15pm).
