Seniors/Minors

Training for the Seniors and Minors will take place on Mondays and Wednesday's of this week at 7:30pm.
The next game is versus Newry Shamrocks on Monday the 6th of July.

Under 16s

Under 16s had a good run out against a good Derrynoose side last night. Training continues Monday's and Wednesday's at 7:30pm.

Under 14s

The Under 14s were extremely unlucky last weekend as they competed in the All Ireland Feile, after cruising through the group stages with 2 wins and a loss, next up was Saint Brendan's of Ardfert in Kerry on the Saturday in Monaghan Harps. The lads ran out 4-12 to 3-9 after extra time which put them through to the All Ireland Semi Final on Sunday vs Padraig Pearses from  Roscommon who they beat 1-8 to 1-3. The final was against St Fechins at 3:30pm in Cloghan, and the lads give it their all, but it wasn't to be, St Fechins won by a smallest of margin. For these lads to reach the All Ireland Final is an incredible achievement, and everyone at the club is so proud of them. We had the pleasure of hosting the Clann na nGael from Athboy in Meath for the weekend. We hope they enjoyed their stay and that this is he start of a long relationship between the two clubs.

Under 12s

CRC U12 travelled to Louth GAA Centre at Darver Co. Louth, for U12 blitz. A very enjoyable evening of hurling was had by all members of the squad in games against Naomh Moninne, Knockbridge and St. Fechins. Goals, Points, blocks, hooks, frees, sideline cuts, galore and a few knocks too. Well done to all the boys. Thanks also to the parents who helped out with lifts and their support at the games.

Under 8s/10s

South Armagh Underage Blitz - Monday 15th June
On a beautiful Monday evening large crowds of parents and spectators gathered in Craobh Rua to watch the U-8 and U-10 South Armagh hurling blitz involving Craobh Rua, Killeavy and Mullabawn . The Craobh Rua U-10's played out two competitive games against Mullabawn and Killeavy.
Eoghan Rushe performed brilliantly in goals in both matches with some great puck-outs. In the full back line Finn Elshaw and Ben O'Hare battled hard while in midfield Eoin Garvey, Fionn Doyle and Michael Hughes competed well. In the half forwards Ross Craven picked off some lovely points and a very well taken goal. Kevin Doyle made some penetrating runs from centre half-forward which resulted in two goals against Mullabawn. Joe Mc Creesh and Jenson Lee caused havoc in the opposition back line. New man Aidan Lynch had a very promising debut. Joseph Kinney had his best ever game in the red and white of Craobh Rua, he fought for every ball from the first minute to the last. Both Liam O'Brien and Alex O'Hare competed well when introduced in the full-forward line. Overall this was a very useful exercise and we thank both clubs for their competitive spirit.
