The Armagh SFL gets underway today and one of the more interesting fixtures is the meeting of Crossmaglen and Carrickcruppen in St. Oliver Plunkett Park.

Long-time county champions Cross' are expected to make a winning start to the campaign, but they won't be taking anything for granted against a Carrickcruppen outfit which is coached by former Down All Stars Benny Coulter and Danny Hughes. The pair, who are still playing for their clubs Mayobridge and Saval, are assisting joint-managers Jim Loughran and Jim Kearns.

Meanwhile, it's a huge day for Forkhill who will make their first ever appearance in the top flight with a home game against Sarsfields (Derrytrasna).
