Hooley Around Cooley Cycle: The Club hosted its second fund raising 52k "Hooley Around Cooley" Cycle.
130 Cyclists supported the event and we thank them for their participation. Craobh Rua are also indebted to those who sponsored the Cycle and our local Cycling Clubs.also to all who helped organise it. The Vehicle Drivers, Cycle Maintenance and Road Safety Stewards kept everyone safe and the catering team headed by Philly Barton from Maya deserve the highest praise. Old and young members of our Club give us their time to ensure the Cycle was an enjoyable and safe event.
Prior to the event starting a minutes silence was held in memory of John Paul Mc Kevitt who died tragically this week whilst out cycling.
