Kellogs Cul Camps
Last week witnessed nearly 40 young boys and girls being coached by Armagh county footballers Rory Grugan, brothers Stefan and Aidan Forker and Ladies footballer Mags McAlindan .
We were treated to glorious weather throughout the week and all involved thoroughly enjoyed the coaching sessions. On Friday the Cul Camp boys and girls wore their new kit.
Senior Football / Peil Sinsearach
Unfortunately this week was not a good week for our Senior Panel as they were defeated on Friday evening playing away from home against Ballyhagen and then again on Sunday playing at home against Keady.

This was two defeats in a row but overall our Senior Players have had a good year. Training hard every week and some our players took time out on Saturday morning for a cool down between games.

Let's keep the head's up lads J

Thomas Davis GFC -v- Dromitee
Dromintee 3-5
Tomas Davis 0-12
The lads done the club proud this week. 15 of our lads showed up to Dromintee to give their best performance of the season so far. We got off to a poor start by conceding a goal and 3 points but the lads replied back with some neat long range points and accurate free taking from Ronan Casey. The defence tightened up well to stop any further scores from Dromintee especially Jarlath Jennings putting his body on the line to block the ball. Along with Conor Cinnamond , Ethan Casey and Jordan Lennon with some excellent tackling.

HT score 1-3 to 0-5
The second half showed major improvement with Jamie Gaskins direct running with the ball and taking his score got the game level. Dromintee up their game to get 2 goals. But we responded well with more long points from Ryan Owens and more good free taking from Ronan Casey. Luck didn't go our way after a ball came off the post and rebounded past a number of bodies away for a goal kick. But the lads did not drop their heads, pushed themselves up until the final whistle and gave 100%.
Well done to all involved Player of the week is Jordan Lennon

Thomas Davis GFC v Whitecross
Our U12 team suffered a defeat at home to Whitecross.
We started the first half poorly conceding 2 early goals. Ryan Owens and Jamie Gaskin got us on the scoreboard with 2 points each from play. Whitecross stepped up a gear and added another goal and nine points to their tally to hold a convincing lead at half time. The lads upped their game in the second half and Jamie got us off to a good start by scoring a great goal, we remained on top for most of the second half with more accurate free taking from Ronan Casey. We were awarded a penalty and corrinshego born and bred Jarlath Jennings stepped up to the mark to blast it in the back of the net along with 2 points from play.
The lads put in a great effort and after a poor first half fought hard to try and get back into the game but it was too little too late in the end.

Full time score TDC 2-12 Whitecross 3-12
Well done to all involved. Player of the week Ryan Owens
