Grimley fears for his job

Armagh manager Paul Grimley
Paul Grimley admits he could be out of a job if Armagh are relegated to Division 3 of the Allianz Football League on Sunday.

With Louth already down, Armagh are one of three counties nervously looking over their shoulders ahead of Sunday's final round of Division 2 games. They may yet need to beat table-toppers Donegal at the Athletic Grounds to avoid the dreaded drop.

"It would be a disaster as there would probably be a negative vibe around the county because of it," the Orchard County boss told the Irish Independent.

"I'm not sure what way it would be viewed in relation to my position within the county but I'm sure, and I know, that I would want to be held accountable for that. If we go down to Division 3, it will cost me the job.

"Whenever you try to change things so much, that brings a period of unease and unrest. We're trying to change the style of the team. It takes a while and you are going to have these periods when things are not going to go well for you."
