Armagh star Jarly Og Burns is living a dream that he talked about a decade ago at the same venue as Sunday's Ulster SFC replay with Cavan.
Speaking in Clones ten years ago after a half-time kids game, the ambitious youngster said: 'Hopefully I'll go on to play for Armagh some day, just for now I’m happy and excited for the next step for me’.
Interviewed with two cousins and his Uncle, Finbar Burns at the 2009 Ulster SFC game between Tyrone and Armagh, Jarly Og said he wanted to go on to be just like his Dad, Jarlath Burns. ‘I just really want to be like him because he was a great midfielder’.
