Fresh from winning the Allianz FL Division 3 titles, Armagh have received a further boost ahead of their Ulster SFC campaign.

Experienced defender Mark Shields missed out on the league success due to injury but, as reported by The Irish News, he has featured prominently for his club Whitecross in recent weeks.

The Orchard County are due to renew acquaintances with Fermanagh in the Anglo Celt Cup race on May 19^th and a fit-again Shields would be major addition to their ranks.
