Kilburn Gaels 2-3

O'Donovan Rossa of Antrim are celebrating All-Ireland Club Intermediate hurling glory this evening after they edged out Kilburn Gaels in Croke Park today.

Stephen Beatty's goal in the first minute of the second-half proved to be the difference between the sides at the final whistle as the Ulster champions secured a hard-earned win.

A low-scoring first-half ended with O'Donovan Rossa holding a 0-4 to 0-2 lead.

The Croke Park floodlights were turned on for the second-half and Beatty found the back of the London side's net inside the opening minute.

The Tom Bergin managed Kilburn responded with two goals of their own courtesy of corner-forward Keith Killilea but late points from Michael Armstrong and Gerard Walsh made it a day to remember for the west Belfast club's players and supporters.
