Peter Healy says the Antrim players have bought into Lenny Harbinson's long-term plan for the team and feels things have "fallen into place" for the Glensmen.
Healy has been part of a Saffron defence which has only conceded 0-40 in five league outings thus far in the team's push for promotion.
Harbinson's side welcome league-leaders Carlow in a crunch clash at Corrigan Park this Sunday and Healy feels they are well placed to inflict the Barrowsiders with their first defeat of the campaign.
"Lenny definitely has a system in mind and we're going through it week in, week out - kick-outs, defensive set-ups and forward shape," he is quoted saying by The Irish News.
"Lenny has a long-term plan. He knows it's not going to be perfect after one year, but it's just a matter of keeping going. We have a guy Fintan (Devlin) in doing strength and conditioning, again that's part of a long-term plan rather than trying to get results immediately.
"But things have definitely fallen into place and I think you can see that. Hopefully it all pays off."
