'Comer looked to be in trouble when two goals from James Nolan helped St. Kieran's to a 2-3 to 0-1 lead after 16 minutes. However, they reduced the deficit to five points at half-time, 1-4 to 2-6, thanks to a Canice Maher goal. 'Comer outscored their much vaunted opponents by 1-10 to 0-6 after the restart to pull off a famous victory. A 35th minute goal from Brian Dillon cut the arrears to two points, but the underdogs had to wait until the 48th minute to draw level.
