Former Kilkenny great Ger Henderson
Former Kilkenny star Ger Henderson has dismissed speculation linking him with the vacant hurling manager's post in Wexford. Henderson, who served as a Kilkenny selector under Brian Cody in 1999, 2000 and 2001, winning the All-Ireland in 2000, said he would not be interested in succeeding Seamus Murphy even if he was approached. "There's no truth in those rumours, and I haven't been approached by anyone in Wexford," he said. "There's a massive time commitment with the job of county manager, and at the moment I'm happy to be a selector with my club (Fenians). Kilkenny physical trainer and former Laois football boss Michael Delaney has also been linked with the vacancy.
