Aaron Hoey has been drafted into the Louth senior football management team.
The St Brides clubman, who represented the Wee County a total of 164 times on the field of play between 1996 and 2012 and played in ten different positions, replaces his former Louth team-mate Ollie McDonnell.
McDonnell served Colm Kelly as selector for the past two years but has decided to step aside.
Former Derry manager Paddy Crozier has also stepped down from his role as Louth coach, with his replacement yet to be confirmed.
