Oulart The Ballagh 2-15

St Martin's 0-13

Oulart The Ballagh put a disappointing 2014 behind them to capture their sixth Wexford SHC title in seven years at the expense of St. Martin's in Innovate Wexford Park.

First half goals from Nicky Kirwan and Garrett Sinnott proved decisive as St. Martin's suffered the heartbreak of losing both the senior football and hurling finals in the space of eight days. Oulart were never headed after Sinnott gave them a 0-2 to 0-1 lead in the seventh minute. They extended their lead to 0-4 to 0-1 before Kirwan raised the first green flag when he whipped a ground shot to the net.

St. Martin's replied with points from Paudie Kelly and Joe O'Connor before Sinnott's 25th minute major left the winners sitting pretty on a 2-6 to 0-6 half-time lead.

Ciaran Lyng and sub Stephen Murphy had early second half points for Martin's, but they couldn't get any closer as Oulart pulled away with scores from Kirwan and Rory Jacob, who surprisingly lined out at midfield.
