The death has occurred of Mrs Kitty Nealon, wife of former Tipperary hurler, selector and Munster Council secretary, Donie Nealon.

Kitty died peacefully at home in Newtown, Nenagh, surrounded by her family. Donie and Kitty had seven children - Declan, Sean, Donal, Eimear, Sinéad, Nuala and Kevin, while another daughter, Aideen, passed away some years ago.

Kitty's removal will to Youghalarra Church in Newtown, Nenagh will take place this evening, followed by funeral tomorrow at 3pm.
