Long-serving Roscommon midfielder Karol Mannion has called time on his inter-county career.
The St Brigid's clubman made his debut in 2002 and was midfield on the the Rossies team that captured the 2010 Connacht SFC title at Sligo's expense.
On the club front, he was awarded the 'man-of-the-match' accolade in last year's All-Ireland Club SFC final win over Ballymun Kickhams after kicking 1-2 from play in the decider.
His medal collection also includes four Connacht SFC club medals.
Mannion's retirement from the inter-county stage on the eve of the start of the Allianz FLs leaves Roscommon manager John Evans with a big void to fill around the middle third of the field.
