Donegal manager Ray Durack wants to seal a place in the Nicky Rackard Cup final.
The Tir Chonail men host Monaghan at the semi-final stage of the third-tier All-Ireland hurling competition in Letterkenny tomorrow afternoon and Durack is keen to erase lingering memories of last year's heavy semi-final loss to Louth.
"Last year's defeat to Louth hurt a lot and we are anxious to make amends this time around and make it through to the final in Croke Park," he says in The Irish News.
"Croke Park is a mighty carrot for all the lads and - when you factor in that the boys are going all out to make up for last year - we are not lacking in motivation."
En route to achieving promotion, Donegal eased past Monaghan in Division 3A of the league but Durack says that match isn't relevant to Saturday:
"They were missing a good few players that day and we will not be reading too much into that."
