McComiskey downed by back injury

Down's Paul McComiskey
The 23-year-old was diagnosed with a collapsed disc in his spine back in 2008 and missed the following season in its entirety before playing a key role in the Mourne County's run to the 2010 All-Ireland final.
The Dundrum clubman participated in Down's pre-Christmas gym programme but has told the management team that his back won't stand up to squad training yet.
He's currently undergoing rehabilitation and hopes to return to intercounty action in the middle of the league. Tweet
