Wexford hurler Stephen Banville has been named in the football squad for Sunday's clash with Meath.

The Model County open their O'Byrne Cup programme in Navan on Sunday and manager Jason Ryan has listed Banville amongst his substitutes. Banville was previously named in the football squad in 2010 ahead of the Qualifier against Galway but didn't feature.

Ryan has also selected League of Ireland soccer players Lee Chin and Kevin Rowe in his starting XV for this weekend.
