Murray and Dalton scoop Offaly awards
December 15, 2011

Edenderry captain Richie Dalton
Coolderry's Damien Murray and Edenderry captain Richie Dalton have been named as the Offaly senior hurler and footballer of the year respectively.
Former county star Murray has been rewarded for a brilliant season with Coolderry which saw him rack up 2-54 in the club's capture of the Offaly and Leinster titles. Dalton, meanwhile, was outstanding for Edenderry in their surprise Dowling Cup success. He was also a regular starter at midfield for the Offaly footballers this year.
