Donegal SFC: Easy for Glenties
October 04, 2010

Anthony Thompson and Naomh Conaill advance.
Naomh Conaill lived up to their favourites' billing when they powered to an emphatic victory over Killybegs in a disappointing Donegal SFC final at Ballybofey.
Naomh Conaill 1-15
Killybegs 0-8
The Glenties men never looked back after man of the match Leo McLoone split the post inside the first 10 seconds. Louise McNern and Conal Molloy replied for Killybegs, but a scoring burst which yielded points from McLoone, John O'Malley and Leon Thompson saw Naomh Conaill lead by 0-8 to 0-3 at the break.
By then, Killybegs were down to 14 men after Christopher Murrin was issued with a straight red card following an incident involving Thomas Donoghue in the lead-up to half-time.
It was one-way traffic in the second half with Dermot Molloy, O'Malley and Thompson adding points. Molloy also fired home the only goal as Naomh Conaill atoned for the disappointment of last year's defeat to St. Eunan's in impressive fashion.
