Louth's Ronan Greene
Louth defender Ronan Greene says the Reds confidently looked their opponents in the eyes.
Speaking about the Wee County's sensational defeat of Kildare in Navan last Saturday night, the Naomh Malachi clubman pointed out:
"We never doubted ourselves and I think that was key to it from the start. We went out, we kept things simple, and went for it with no fear. That was key to it.
"At the end of the day, it's down to 15 men against 15 men. You have to look your man in the eye and say 'I can beat you'. I think every man on our team did that.
"I suppose we had the advantage of 70 minutes of championship football under our belts, which is always a big advantage, and we decided our gameplan.
"We were always going to keep things simple, move it quick, and we stuck to it."
