Lally transfer goes through

March 18, 2010

Dublin's Declan Lally
London have been boosted by the news that former Dublin footballer Declan Lally is now free to play with the exiles.

The acquisition of Lally is another sign that London could prove a strong side in this year's Connacht championship following the capture of Donegal's Eamonn McGee and Carlow footballer Derek Hayden.

Lally has won Leinster and All-Ireland under-21 titles with the Dubs and lined out for the capitals seniors during the 2008 championship.

The exiles face Leitrim in the league this weekend and they will be seeking their second win of the campaign. Lally is expected to feature during the game as is Westmeath native Brian Smyth who has also signed for London.
