Carroll future in doubt

Kerry hurling manager Mossie Carroll
Kerry hurling manager Mossie Carroll has hinted that he may not be willing to stay on in the job for another term.
Carroll guided the Kingdom to their first ever Christy Ring Cup semi final, where it took a replay to separate them and defending champions Carlow.
Despite, transforming the Kerry's hurlers' fortunes in just a few short months, the Limerick native has admitted that the commitment of travelling from Cork is a huge burden and he will take his time over a decision on his future.
"I enjoyed the year, but it's a disappointing end to it. It was also a huge commitment as regards travelling from Cork, etc so I am not going to be drawn about the future or what is going to happen next year," said Carroll.
"I enjoyed it and I hope the lads did too and I got a lot of positivity out of it as well. It was hard work and that's hurling."
