County finals on TG4

TG4 has confirmed that it will provide coverage of the Tyrone and Kilkenny County Finals next Sunday on GAA Beo. Viewers and fans from all over the country will be able to see a host of stars from this year's All-Ireland Football and Hurling Finals. The coverage will begin at 3:00pm and will start with live coverage of the Tyrone County Senior Football Final from Healy Park in Omagh with Clonoe taking on Dromore.
Holders Dromore qualified for the final after an impressive 2-11 to 0-8 victory over Ardboe at Healy Park with two Eoin McCusker goals and three points from Colm McCullagh. Meanwhile Clonoe defeated Donaghmore 1-9 to 2-3 to qualify for their first decider since 1991 at Dungannon - a goal midway through the second half >from substitute PJ Lavery ensured new Derry boss Damien Cassidy,s charges of a place in the final.
After the Tyrone decider, TG4 coverage will turn to Nowlan Park where defending champions Ballyhale Shamrocks meet James Stephens in the Kilkenny County Senior Hurling Final.
Between them these two teams have won the last four Kilkenny senior titles and both have won All Ireland Club Championships in the last four years also. The game will feature four 2008 Vodafone All Stars - Henry Shefflin and Cha Fitzpatrick for the Shamrocks and Jackie Tyrrell and Eoin Larkin for James Stephens - while Eoin Larkin is also the Vodafone Player of the Year. Both sides feature a considerable array of supporting stars and a fascinating game is in prospect.
GAA Beo will be presented by Micheál Ó Domhnaill with commentary and analysis by Brian Tyers, Conal Ó Mairtín and Tomás Ó hAilín.
