Kerry posters get annoyed when I called last years team average but come on that's shocking today from Kerry with more or less there team from last year, still scratching my head to how they won Sam with such an average team. Keith Higgins what a player Mayo will have a big say this year again after they were robbed last year in the semi final.

No-one could have predicted what just happened in Newbridge. Unreal. For that to happen in two consecutive league campaigns is incredible.

The Muckrossmeister hits 2015 running with a clean sweep!!!

Mind you next week will probably be a wipeout but for now I am happy to bask in the golden glow of successful punditry.

Cork and Mayo was the best game in last year's All Ireland competition. Cork were very unlucky not to win

Great talent on Leeside...If they gain confidence, and push on from this, Sam Maguire will be resting on the banks once again

Billy Morgan reiterated that he expects Cork to be in last 4 this year.

Mayo looked very sharp against Kerry.

Humble apologies for my last post.

I thought I had gone for Cork but looking at it I see I had the Muckross millions on Dublin.

I will now slink away to sit in the Corner of Shame.

The Roc goes for the ball with O Niell , O Niell touches it on the ground then headbutts The Roc in the stomach but the ref gives a free in for Cork haha, while EOG is getting dragged all over the shop but can't buy a free.

Right on to next weekend, health warnings aplenty here but sure we'll have a go.....

Dublin v Donegal - Stand out game of the weekend, Dublin will want to make amends for today and Donegal will be boosted by their win, tough to call I'll go for a draw
Derry v Kerry - Derry looked poor when Mark Lynch tired last night and didn't offer much in the second half, Kerry still blowing dirty petrol but will have enough to make the long trip worthwhile
Monaghan v Cork - Both impressive this weekend, Cork's win somewhat more significant I think and they can maintain their 100% start here
Mayo v Tyrone - Tyrone looked awful after 20 mins last night, Mayo impressive in the Kingdom and will maintain their winning start

Meath v Kildare - A game of real significance now, Kildare performed better than Meath in defeat today, a big home crowd and stinging criticism to spur on the Royals ( I hope )
Laois v Cavan - Laois appear in bother whilst Cavan good a good point in Roscommon, a Cavan win
Down v Roscommon - Interesting game here, great finish by Down today who I have tipped for promotion and home advantage should see them through
Westmeath v Galway - Good start for Westmeath today but Galway will see this as a great opportunity to win 2 from 2 and should be stronger

Tipp v Limerick - Tipp unlucky not to raid points in the Orchard and are well ahead of Limerick, Tipp win
Louth v Clare - Clare impressive against Wexford, Louth the opposite against Fermanagh, the Banner to prevail
Sligo v Fermanagh - Impressive opening by the Erne men and they can continue on winning ways here
Wexford v Armagh - Slaneysiders suffered badly today and won't make amends here, Armagh to win comfortably

Carlow v London - Carlow to prevail here in their new geansai's
Wicklow v Leitrim - Solid opening by Leitrim, not so by Wicklow, Leitrim to come away with 2 points
Longford v Antrim - Hard one to call, maybe home advantage to edge Longford over the line
Offaly v Waterford - Offaly found scores hard to come by in Ruislip, Waterford in great early season form but the home side should score better on home soil, Offaly win

Just thought id note that David Moran was phenomenal today for Kerry, looks possibly the best out and out midfielder in the country

That would be you if you think that Cork will be winning the All-Ireland after a narrow victory against a shadow Dublin side.Dublin rested all their top players - who were Cork missing?

Cork do have talented players. However, they do not have the organisation to be able to compete. Last year, I thought we were good enough to win an All-Ireland but we got caught in the headlights in a league semi-final against Dublin and we are still stuck in them. We HAVE NO TACTICS. Today's game was scrappy, lose and open and we still barely won with the aid of a referee, who to be frank, helped Cork a lot!

I will happily admit I am wrong when I am wrong. When I made that prediction I didn't realise it was our strongest side versus a third choice Dublin team.

Regarding Kerry v Mayo - I went with Kerry as they were at home. It was a toss of coin predicting that. Mayo winning is not a massive surprise to anybody. They, along with Kerry, are one of then top four sides in the country. Cork are not.

I am sick
Stayed over in Galway last night to watch that rubbish today.
Management and players need to take a damn hard luck at them selves after that display.
Congrats to Galway better team won.
