Meath to be within 3 points with 20 mins remaining. Dublin to win by 8.

This could well be a shellacking of biblical proportions.
The fact of the matter is that Dublin are the best team in the country playing on their own home ground against a Div 2 team with injury & fitness issues.
If Dublin are in the mood it could be embarrassing.

Well if it is a hammering god help the likes of Donegal if they unfortunate enough to meet dubs.
Fact is Meath are only one of four teams that could beat Dublin. Kerry mayo and monaghan the others.

1615559 Firstly no Meath supporter is eulogising or playing things up, and I don't see too many Dubs playing things down either. Unlike your bunch last Sunday I predict out lads will have a bit of "spine" about them. We may not beat Dublin, we have a chance of course but it will be difficult, but we will not roll over, surrender or embarrass our supporters with our performance, of that I am confident

Its a Dublin v Meath thread - its not about Cork.

I've read the posts in the thread and some have played down Dublin while others are predicting a win for Meath.

You mightn't like my opinion or agree with it but I didn't go slating your Meath players over being spineless etc just because your opinion happens to be different.

No intercounty player goes out to play a bad game and just because they had a bad day doesn't give anyone any right to brand them as spineless or accuse them of rolling over. They all don their county jerseys to provide us with the thrills and spills in any given game and I have huge respect for any player who takes to the field with their county regardless of where they hail from.

I just happen to think Dublin are better. That is all.

Well then just say that and stop all the crap about Meath eulogising and damp squibs, we gave them there fill last year and i think at minimum we will so the sane this year, if you don't like being stung then don't sting others.

One thing about Meath is they will give everything. whether thats enough will remain to be seen. But they wont be found wanting against the Dubs. they have a good Manager and some very good players , this is a game that wil be full of intensity.

Whatever big scores Dublin are going to put up they best do it in some of these next games in case they DO meet Donegal.
Because they won't get any room to move , the old blanket will suffocate them.
Seem to dislike Donegal Royaldunn but we have been there , done it all before and can do it again
Now Kerry are not at a stage yet to beat Dublin, don't be one of these people sucked in by Sunday. Cork were like a div four team.
Monaghan can tie up the Dublin forwards. Can they get the scores to win ????
That leaves us with the best chance of the lot and Dublin should be fresh enough come August as I don't see them having to break sweat to win Leinster.

Plus if things were to fall right we could settle a lot of If's and But'si in a Donegal v Meath QF. But somehow I don't think you see the warning sings coming from the HILLS.
