I like the way you say Meath beat a poor Westmeath team,yes you are right,but Louth struggled to beat them at home.Meath destroyed them in Mullingar playing in 2nd gear

Getting the excuses in early I see, isn't this exactly what I've been saying.

Meath supporters will always find excuses for being beaten, under performing, players missing etc etc.

Meath supporters get it very hard to accept that they can be beaten by a county they look down upon, one which they see as being inferior to themselves.

Yes Louth did struggle against Westmeath albeit a slightly better Westmeath side than the one that faced Meath, not an excuse just a fact.

Meath also had four competitive games under their belt prior to facing Westmeath, Louth had one, not an excuse either just a fact.

This is getting the excuses in early if I ever saw it. Jeez you are one confused man. You gave a prediction that Meath would beat Kildare because they have better forwards. When you posted that you knew Sheridan was missing. So Graham Reilly is the only difference now.

Then you say it Kildares to lose and go on to predict Meath will win by a point in another thread. Seriously which is it because you're talking out the two sides of your mouth. If there was a Leinster championship for contradicting yourself you'd be odds on favourite.

The westmeath team that played meath had 2 changes to that which played louth fact. And they were considered necessary to improve team. Louth beat a better wmeath team get real please

Anyway I still think we will win it just will be harder if they not playing.

And my prediction still stands. I would have been very confident of a easy victory with a full squad it becomes harder when your missing players. And in particular graham reilly who is head and shoulders above most forwards that will be playing on sat night. But to answer I still think we will win narrowly. But it will be kildares lack of forwards why we will win it so yes it is yours to loose and I'm confident you will duly oblige

Again graham reilly is head and shoulders above most forwards that would play on sat night so yes without him it becomes more difficult. So let me clarify this for you. Meath will be victorious on sat my one worry is that it will be cause kildare lost it rather than us winning it. Understand?
Either way we still get the points of that I am sure

And as for leinster titles for me I'm happy with the 21 we have. What about you? Lol

Graham Reilly could not even get his place in the Meath for the Galway game last year. He is a good talent who had an outstanding debut season in 2010 but you are getting completely carried away if you think he is better than the likes of Doyle, O'Flaherty or Callaghan. Unfortunetely he is as likely to not touch the ball for the entire game as he is to score six or seven points (not unlike Alan Smith or James Kavanagh might I add both of whom are capable of mixing the sublime with the awful). Bigey needs to find some consistency before we can put him in a category with the upper band of forwards in the country.

Unfortunately this year both Smith and to a lesser extent Kavanagh look way off the pace. Like Reilly they probably lack consistency and at the moment are not doing their chances of automatic selection any good. And like Reilly they could spark to life at any given moment and have a blinder.

Loyal you obviously either know very little about this current team or it seems you are letting your feelings regarding the management cloud your judgment. Which to be fair is not good.
Graham reilly was carrying a injury last season and was not picked for galway game last year because of been injured. Graham reilly is ahead of most of them players you mentioned exception would be doyle but he is now a midfielder and I did say forwards. And actually bray has shown good form this year to. But you obviously were not at 2 league games so far when reilly was sublime and just as good as he was in 10. Banty bash all you want but don't disrespect genuine hard working talented players. I know your hoping for a bad season so we can get a manager who can trace his meath ancestry back to newgrange. But that is for another day. Support the lads and acknowledge there talents.

royaldunne, apart from some of the Dubs before last years AI final I've never seen someone post so many times about one match. It's a flippin league match in Division 2, would you ever relax! It's got to the stage where I'd nearly be worried about your health on Saturday. You've built this up to be Meath's time to finally prove how much better they are than Kildare but even if you win I think you're going to find the whole thing of a bit of an anti-climax. Saturday is the 3rd of March, Kildare play Offaly on the 16th of June. I think you should take a leaf out of McGeeney's book and pace yourself!

Graham Reilly is an outstanding talent and his best position is wing-forward. he is still very young 21/22.At the moment I would say Stephen Bray is still our most valuable forward STILL,Why? he shows more leadership than any of our other forwards,apart from scoring,he works very very hard and is a good creater.I hope I'm right that at least 75% of Meath fans would suggest he is our most valuable forward.
