What will you be the doing during the Visits?

Ok, now that it is all done and dusted, can it be deemed a success?
The term success needs to be qualified, everything's relative. Some may view it as a success, others as a failure. And some poor chipmunks may have viewed the visit itself as a success, but the overblown/unhinged/delirious reaction to it as a disappointing, although sometimes hilarious, failure.

Have we developed any little more into a fully fledged independent republic?
I could be just crazy, but it doesn't appear so. Given that the consensus in our newly mature Republic is that Britain are now effectively going to fight our battles for us against the bwig bwad Germans and French, its hard to see that as a development in independence. I mean personally, I've always had a compunction to get other people to fight my battles for me too (doing stuff is hard), but I've usually felt that made me a timid little coward. Maybe I haven't been reading the right newspapers.

What is the next big gripe for ultra nationalists.?
I think ultra-nationalists generally seem to hang on to the same gripe, that's one of the advantages of membership (dragging out the same thing takes much less effort, thinking is exhausting). Reason enough not to expend too much energy worrying about them.
However, people whose sole motivation for doing anything is to spite ultra-nationalists and their gripes might now be able to take their foot off the pedal somewhat, relax a bit, maybe take a holiday (I cannot recommend the Cote d'Azur highly enough, surprisingly affordable).

i cant actually get over those comments- its time to remove poster like that they contribute nothing, society is leaving these fools behind and i think HS should do likewise- we have listened to the hatred and venom for long enough but to defend the darkest day ever on this island is absolutely a step to far. as my great grandfather one said to me, 'you should genuinely feel sorry for someone who is blind, but have no sympathy for anyone who refuse to see out of spite' this definately has relevance here!
