Replying To Afinestick:  "Add Rory O Connor and Oisin Foley to the forward line and this could well be our starting 15 for championship. Would be great to see Banville , Carty and Richie Lawlor push for starting places. Also think its time to give James Lawlor a run in goal. Fanning has been a fantastic servant but you have to feel for him his confidence seems shot"
I don't see Jack o Connor as a starter, impact sub.

Does anyone know the actual throw in time for Saturday? I think there is a match, music, fireworks etc and hard to get details!

Replying To TerribleFootwork:  "Ref last Sunday is actually a St Patricks clubman originally now living in Westmeath and affiliated to a club up there, same with Paud O'Dwyer intercounty ref from Tinryland in carlow is orignally a cushinstown native."
Maybe he over compensated for where he was from. But I never saw a ref in any sport who was as 1 armed as he was.

Think I'd rather a half forward line of 3 of Banville, Mogie, Chin, Dunbar and O Foley than having Jacko starting tbh. And get a better look at Hearne also during the League.
2 of Dee, Mcguckin and Lawlor midfield.
Or maybe Dunbar, Dwyer, Mac inside. Kyle Firman and Higgins will look better on better pitches later in the year also.
What Jacko does have going for him is size/height which is something we are generally lacking in our front 6. Clancy has a bit of height also, as does Tucker. But both would be a good bit off starting a championship game as it is so far.
And don't forget while Davy had Joe O Connor as a back he played well in the full forward line for Wexfords u21 team after getting moved there from the half forward line in the Leinster final against Galway in 2018. Think he played midfield against Dublin that year also. He could be another taller option up front when he settles back in to the squad.

Delighted to hear that . Mogie was excellent last year and hopefully he will be fresh and re energised for the season ahead. Great news on Rory too

The same lad referred last year's Leinster minor hurling final and the All-Ireland junior final the night before, and was excellent in both. Let the game flow both occasions. It is unusual that he reffed a Wexford game considering his ties so I can only assume he was a late call-up for the original appointee (then again Owens has a Tipp-native doing umpire in 2019 AI final). It's a real GAA thing as well though- complaining about a referee even in winning!

He was really poor. There were 3 old fellas from Offaly sitting behind me and they thought the same. He didn't let the game flow as such. He let Offaly lads away with holding and pushes in the back and blew our lads up for overcarrying when they were being held. He blew 1 of our lads up for a fair shoulder, which the 3 Offaly guys all agreed looked fair. He even blew one of our lads up for lying on the ball at one point, which he wasn't, and the only reason he was on all 4s beside the ball in the 1st place was he got pushed over from behind. If he had of been consistent I wouldn't be complaining.

Is Kevin Foley in Australia for the year? And is Oisin Foley staying over there for the whole season with Paudie or is Oisin coming back?

Kevin Foley and the 2 Recks are back from Syndey since late Nov or early Dec. Paudie Foley is still in Syndey. Oisin Foley and Chin just met them in Bali for a holiday during November.

Egan said before Xmas, maybe November even, that Kevin and Oisin were coming back.
