Seems like we were lucky to get out of there with a draw. Onwards and upwards.

Onwards and upwards! Are you serious?

There was a reason I said I'd have Whiteley instead of Suthcliffe. He doesn't want to know when things get tough.

Unless other teams completely collapse we be doing well to avoid a play off to stay senior.

We were lucky in some ways to get a draw but we also created enough chances to win comfortably.

3/4 very good goal chances not taken and Burke put 3 very easy frees wide in the 2nd half.

Sutcliffe gave Antrim at least 1-2 in that first half as well. He's always been very talented but rarely delivers.

The weather was awful but a great welcome as always in Belfast.

Well yeah, what should they do. Give up cause they drew a match - which was away and in terrible conditions. Lots more hurling to be played this summer. I would have started FW in the half forwards too.

Fair enough point taken.

It doesn't change the fact that the Wexford game will still be the crucial one for both teams.

Difficult to be optimistic all the same.

Ah yeah fair enough you being frustrated at the result, its definitely not the start we wanted. But I think we will beat Wexford in Croker and hopefully they dont upset KK or Galway

It fades after 50 years!

Brought myself to watch the highlights and at least they appeared to have created enough chances to win. And that they didn't fold as they did in Portlaoise a few years back.

Where are the highlights Barney? I sat down to watch TSG last night expecting to see a few minutes of highlights, got a few seconds after the highlights and analysis of a match that had already been shown and analysed 5 hours earlier.
Farce.

Highlights are on TSG all right - but where the S means Saturday rather than Sunday.

You'll find both Dublin v Antrim and Wexford v Galway on The Saturday Game on the RTE Player.

As always with the RTE Player, be prepared to sit through a lot of ads!

How long has this being going on?
This is the first time I have heard of The Saturday Game other than for live matches.
Tell me this is new!?

There was a Saturday highlights.

Too many games I suppose to give any sort of real flavour of other than the big games and they only get 5/6 minutes. Dowling and Ursula are not bad analysts either although the jumping up and down to give a power point can look a bit odd!

GAAGO is not a bad option if you cannot get to matches or they are not being shown live. I have to confess I opted to watch Tipp v Clare rather than our footballers and I reckon it was the correct decision, apart from my financial investment!

Watched Tipp and Clare myself Barney. I was impressed with the camera angles etc it's a far better product than last year.

It is. They've gotten rid of some of the amateury stuff and the commentary and punditry was good. Who were they by the way?

Got some good sideline shots too which gave some indication of what the management on the two sides thought of it all!

It was great game to watch too. Very impressed with Tipp. Thought they dealt with the comeback before half time very well, and managed it efficiently after the black card. Never looked like being beaten. They look like a much better prepared, tougher and efficient beast than the one that limped out last year. Don't think they'll beat Limerick but wouldn't be surprised to see them in AI final.

I don't know. If they hadn't got the goal gifts they could've lost well. Clare turned down easy points in the first half even trying to go for goals.

One of the most bizarre reffing decisions I've ever seen in Portlaoise between Dublin and Laois minors!

Good win for the minors after a tough game. Not as tough as the 10 yellows and 3 reds might suggest however. Some ridiculously soft frees given and way too officious.

Not sure what he was at with the penalty, Gave a penalty for where the ball landed after a late tackle yards out on the sideline but also booked the corner back so maybe he managed to give a free and a penalty at the same time!

Yeah strange one, fantastic win for Tipp but everything really went their way between poor wides and soft goals conceded by Clare.
