I can't call Galway/cork..Galway were dismal in leinster final surely if they have anything in them they'll show up..can't totally depend on whelan,I'd be playing niland, very good free taker and that's vital..cork were terrible in first two matches and seem to have found a possible better starting team by total accident..I'm interested to see if Horgan starts..if cork missing one or two at the back it just might tip scales for s Galway win..the second game is a tip for Wexford for me..Clare will find it hard to get to same level again..the duo of Hayes and duggan will be under fierce pressure after the last 10 days..can see rory o Connor causing big problems, also chin seems to be getting going in last game..clare might target fanning who is prone to at least one mistake in every game..I give Wexford a hesitant vote..hope it's all about the hurling but I have doubts..

Galway by 7
Clare by 9

I think Galway will finally put in a 70 minute performance and get goals. Looking forward to seeing the young Cork CB who oozes class.

Hate to say it but if Clare bring their A game then they will be just too good for my beloved Wexford. Saying that, it's hard to gauge just how good the overall levels in both Munster and Leinster are this year.

Just my opinion but both provincial championships were lacking in quality. Limerick play with that inner belief that is fully justified and its got them through when things got tight. Clare were impressive in both games against them so are rightly fancied to win handy tomorrow. As for Cork, they are just not solid enough at the back and good sides will expose them.

Leinster was just plain weird this year. Kilkenny were exceptional against the Dubs but out battled by Wexford. The Leinster final was abysmal in terms of quality from both sides, but Cody as he has done for so many years found a way for KK to win. Galway were by far the best side in the round bobin and then went out in Croker and were dead flat. Shuffling will not allow that to happen again tomorrow. Wexford have been up and down, and if I'm being honest mostly down. There's a heap of good young lads to properly come through and bed down and the future is bright. This year was always going to be a toughie but I think it ends tomorrow.

Anyways, hopefully we get 2 great games and the RTE pundits concentrate on the games and not concentrate on a bit of dirty play (just look at how many times they replayed the 'stamping' incident)

Replying To someday:  "clare and Cork to win over weekend for me really looking forward to them.
One question about the munster final I should have asked earlier, do lads here think the very first free when Darragh o donovan shouldered conlon was a free?"
No, good shoulder if you ask me. at the time couldn't understand the decision

Clare & Galway for me, Clare have been very impressive this year & Cork still poor at the back despite Joyce's form at Centre back

Replying To twbm:  "Of course they do. Munster teams in general are treated differently.
Do you really think a Wexford, Offaly etc player would've gotten off? Fahy's suspension had to be over turned because the 2 Clare lads was.
Do you think they'd fix a Munster final for 7 o clock on a Saturday eve?? No chance..
Practically all of the Leinster championship of televised via sky !!
I'm very happy Clare have a full strength team out and I hope TK is fully fit too but there I'd def a major bias towards Munster teams."
I can a sure there is no bias towards Waterford only in one direction and I can give you a list of stats to prove it. The amount of appeals failed, rejected and not taken eventually as it would be pointless. So when you say a bias towards Munster teams I think you need to name the Munster teams that applies to and specify which way the bias goes. To the advantage or disadvantage.

Looking forward to two great games and yes the officials are very much a part of that. They won't get many plaudits if they have the game of their lives. Hopefully we have little or no controversy but I guess that is what keeps us talking. My prediction is Galway are going to have one of those games where no one can stop them. The other is harder but if I know Wexford they are saying we beat the cats in this championship so we are confident, under dogs and afraid of no one now.

Congrats to Offaly minors last night . Fantastic and well deserved victory. The Clare lads looked physically stronger and tried to bully Offaly with a lots of late little digs from Clare resulting but the ferry wasn't having any of it giving lots of yellow cards.
Let's hope we have 2 good 'hurling' matches today with none of the off the ball antics that were in the Munster Final in particular but unfortunaly seems to be a big part of the game now with zero repercussions.

the clare and wexford match i reckon will go to the wire but im going with clare to win by 3 or 4 ....galway for me by 6 or 7 in the other game if they can bring any iknd of workrate and intensity........this cork team is very average and wilt when under pressure. limerick have beaten them by a combined total of 35 points in the last 3 championship matches.

Great win for offaly hurling last night. I'll be hoping it will be Tipp that they are playing in the final but I'm sure the majority of the country will be hoping for an locally win regardless. Underage hurling and football titles are very difficult to win…be it provincial or all Ireland. A lot of the top counties have gone many years without winning one. Offaly are a step away from winning hurling and football two years back to back. Duignan stuck his neck on the line when he went for that job and the results are showing now…albeit maybe they would have won them anyway but it's great progress all the same.
Looking forward to two more crackers today. Closer the games get the more I'm looking forward to them.

Poor match-shocking free taking on a day with little or no wind.

Jesus the quality is seriously lacking in this game. Cork playing rubbish up to half time. Taking the wrong option constantly. Even a couple of the points they got were a poor low percentage shot selection with better options available. Galway up to nothing either

Must be very frustrating as a cork supporter. When your forwards bother to get tight to the opposition they foul almost every time. Cork back get so much stick but their forwards are so frustrating to watch when not in possession
