Its official. Pat Flanagan is the new Caulry manager.
Lomans beware.

Good appointment but the letter that circulated regarding his previous job highlighted that there are no guarantees. Ambitious move by Caulry but has he the players to reach a final and then go on and win it within 2/3 years ? I'm not so sure. In terms of seedings, Lomans are obviously top dog with Kinnegad, The Downs and Caulry in close pursuit.
Any other positions getting filled ?

I Presume Paul Kelly is staying with Castledaly.
Sheridan with Tpass?
Maryland and Tang heard nothing coming from there.
Corcoran over Multy
Nothing from Shamrocks,

Any new coaches with the senior panel is it still Keane/Sherlock and Mick Dillon, the same with u20s whos with Damien Gavin is stuart trainor and David Martin still there.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Id say Lomans are quaking in there boots
Can be as good a manager as you want but won't do much without enough high standard players and caulry haven't got that

Agree completely but maybe with a few less Ha Ha's!
I posted similar 2 weeks ago. A good appointment but they do not have the players to win a Senior Championship in the next 3 years.

Caulry are improving year on year and are realistic contenders for Flanagan Cup, now especially with Pat Flanagan he will get every last ounce out of them.
His record of getting teams to club finals is unbelievable, Clara, Tyrrelspass, Padraig Pearses and thats the next step for Caulry.
I think the players are there to win one when you look at there involvement with county squads.
Shane Curran brought them to this level.

I agree with what you say about Flanagan getting everything out of them they have bundles of talent and really getting to a semi last year with very little work done overall shows us if they put a bit more effort into league games and put out there best 15 in championship they have to be taken serious. I see them challenging anyone . The Downs and Kinnegad also in the mix and a good year for Shandonagh . St Lomans are coming back to the pack so interesting times ahead

Is Sean Loughlin taking the Milltown gig? He was involved in the back room there for a few years.

Interesting that Caulry made little effort this year and apparently played under strength side against Loman's in semi

Any chance people can stop talking nonsense about Caulry, tiresome at this stage. Fair play to them on their recent progress and best of luck to them going forward, no shame if they don't reach a final.

It was stated previously I think that both were part of the Tang set up last year with Keith Higgins ?
Not familiar with the 2 lads to be honest.

St Joseph's GAA are delighted to confirm our Senior team Management for 2024 with Eoin Carberry taking on the Managers position with Paddy Malynn and Alan Farrell coming in as Trainer and Selectors. Eoin takes over from Declan Mulally who guided the team to successive league titles and very impressive runs in the last two years in the Championship.
