Replying To Square_B:  "Indeed they are giving up their time but if the players really need someone like Moran to make them commit or not, that's a reflection on them (and not a good one I'll add). Hyland was / is a good manager who was hard done by for different reasons."
I agree with you Terry Hyland was an excellent manager and achieved more with Leitrim than any manager since John O Mahony.

Covid played havoc with his plans and the whole project fell apart.

That is why getting someone fresh in is the best option.

Are they ever going to announce a manager.

They were planning to announce it on the Leitrim forum but they've had to scrap those plans.

Can some please tell me what is the story with all these added restrictions? We are supposed to be lifting restrictions, not adding more. Is it coming from the county board or Croke Park?

Examples:
- Not allowed park in the car park of Mohill or Ballinamore's pitches even though we were allowed only 3 weeks ago. And Mohill ladies game this morning and they were allowed.
- 6 only allowed in a dressing room
- No allowed in the dressing room at half time. This time of year, its a relief to get into a dressing room at half time to get out of the wind and rain.
- Not allowed shower after a game. St Mary's lads a couple of weeks ago in torrential rain and then expected to get into a car and drive 40/50 minutes soaked. Surely there is more potential to pick up a flu and a weaker immune system potentially more risk of contracting COVID (I'm not a doctor but that's the way these things work... apparently)
-

And, I think it was poor form that Leitrim didn't play the 2 senior games Saturday and play the junior Sunday. Due to their greed, and that's exactly what it is Mohill unfairly go the game postponed to next week while Manor and Carrick were forced to play the day after.

Connacht Gold SFC Semi-Final:
Leitrim Gaels 1-9 Mohill 1-15

Corrib Oil Junior A FC Quarter Finals:
Ballinamore SOH 1-12 Cloone 1-11
Glenfarne Kiltyclogher 1-9 St Mary's 0-9"
Was the draws made for the junior semi final?

dressing rooms including showers are allowed now, think some officials just can never keep up with the times and didn't get the memo about them being reopened, seen it in my club where some halfwit had a go at lads using facilities last week

I'd say Ballinamore will be as well win or loose the final. It's almost a full time job now with the planning and prep that goes into it. Clubs won't be able to afford top managers in the next few years.

I'm hearing the Leitrim senior club final is live on TG4 great to see it being show cased to the wider audience and I think it has the potential to be a brilliant game.

It's clear that the county board obviously can't agree T&Cs with Moran if he is to be the manager. Reported in all media outlets last week and not a peak out of the county board to either confirm
Or deny this. Bit strange the whole lot.

Or... it's clear to me that 'someone' is pushing the agenda to the Media... Longford nipped it in the bud... obviously he's in for the Leitrim job but he's not the only candidate.... someone could be trying to push the agenda... and I say 'someone' ...

Has hit a snag but it will get over the line. The money this management team is costing is quite eye watering lads.

I bet you it is... I've upgraded getting out of Division 4 to winning the 'Connacht Championship'... LOL

Best of luck to them because God knows we'll need it... all I hope is that we've some success out of it at the end of it all however it's hard to be optimistic with such an unproven manager.
