Replying To kentuckytucky:  "My point is that because it is a division four game and shur it's only Leitrim we'll move instead of postponing it. Not good enough."
Also now this means that to achieve promotion that Leitrim will only play 2 games at home and 5 away!

To be fair I imagine the reason is that the opposition is London and the logistics of a rescheduled game etc. means it's preferable to get it played if at all possible.

It will be all the sweeter if we hit for the Clonliffe Road in April.

They found another ground and I presume Leitrim were happy to move the game or we would have heard about an objection. This game wouldn't go ahead if Leitrim CC or the team were opposed.

Why the Connacht GAA Centre venue. Could it not be played in Leitrims own centre?

Ask Leitrim GAA. They agreed to the change.

Replying To kentuckytucky:  "Scandalous the London game has not been postponed but instead has been moved to the dome. It wouldn't happen with Galway or Mayo. A lot of lost ticket receipts from that."
Mountain out of a molehill. Leitrim obviously agreed to the change. Moran has every minute planned for the team for the next few months and he would not want a postponement. He didn't want to be heading into round 4 with only 2 points on the board.

Replying To GreenandRed:  "Definitely not good enough. But the GAA hierarchy don't seem so interested in promoting and improving the standards of so-called weaker counties. Not when so-called stronger counties pay more bills for them. Is the Carrick weather forecast for tomorrow much worse than weather for Mayo v Donegal played in Markievicz?"
There's an expensively built centre of excellence up the road from Carrick that could have held the game too as mentioned.

Given that throw in is earlier than anticipated, can anybody advise me where I can listen online? Doubt Shannonside will cover it that early

I'm sure it could but obviously our Mayo based manager has a say too. Anyhow it's hardly any big deal. We need the win and that will be all that will matter come 1pm tomorrow.

When a team know they are safe motivation can be difficult.

Well done to London today but a disaster for us , no need to be looking forward now to sligo match it will be a dead rubber for us. London may never get a better chance to get promoted now.
