Best of luck to all 4 teams later on, hopefully Wel will get a feast of hurling, although the weather will prob make a hames of it. I'm sure some won't bother travelling as a result

St Thomas's hammering Craughwell. Hopefully second match will be closer.

Hear the same thing every year about Turlough. The disrespect shown to Loughrea every year always amazes me.

Hopefully katser will stop with his predictions from now on.

Turloughmore came up short again. Tough on the keeper at the end, he was excellent all evening with some great saves. Midfield cost them, second to every breaking ball and too easily bullied. Decent game considering the awful conditions. St Thomas's still have that ruthless edge. Should be a great final.

No atmosphere at all for both games, was the terrace for first game and stand for the second. Turlough blow up again, just don't have the firepower.

All our hurling mad followers from the west of the Corrib must have stayed at home. Very poor crowd and no atmosphere. Such a waste.

The country board will be feeling it in the pocket big loss of revenue and it will be the same for the final a mad decision

Too many neutrals and a shortage of passionate club supporters, plenty of polite applause but little cheering.

Only saw 2nd game turlough such a frustrating team the short 50/50 passes is ridiculous.

I suppose we have to face this is prob lowest quality Galway hurling has been as far as I can remember back to mid 90s.

Hopefully it can be turned around quickly

The two best and proven teams left. Turlough just couldn't make the make it stick up front, and relied heavily on frees to keep them hanging in there. They need to unearth some classy forwards if they're to eventually get over the line.
Loughrea a better balanced team. I thought their workrate was also better, but they have improvement to make for the final. While the goal at the end was lucky, I thought it gave the scoreline a better reflection of the difference between the teams.
Thomas' showed all their experience to get the job done. They're still operating at a high level and have very few weaknesses. It's some achievement to keep coming back year after year, with most of the same group.
Cashel had a good year, but they've a bit to go yet. They have good numbers so the opportunity is there for them to build on this.
Looking forward to the final. Loughrea having gotten the job done last year should stand to them. Thomas' are the masters of county finals, and put their remarkable unbeaten record on the line.

Loughrea controlled the game from start to finish. Loughrea more quality overall throughout the 15.

I think Thomas' have weaknesses in their team that can definitely be exploited. Full back line and midfield in particular.
