We need to beat Antrim and Dublin to progress and I believe we will. Lads looked tired and heavy legged against a good Wexford team but they have had time now to rest and prepare for Antrim who will bring fight. I would play David Burke for first half in midfield as he still has a role to play or bring him in for last 25 odd minutes. We have problems in midfield though. Put Daithi back where he belongs and give John Cooney and lad from Cappy a go.

Big boost for Galway hopes qualifying for the leinster final with the draw. Kilkenny looked like a team who had the game won before the ball was thrown in. Kilkenny will have to beat wexford now in nowlan park, we wont see any of the playing for a draw to knock galway out like what we seen in 2019…

Wexford have to beat Carlow first, not a given by a long way.

Take it you never hurled? How do you play for a draw? And why did you think that playing for a loss against Dublin in 2019 was going to get you anywhere? Your game finished after ours! I clearly remember being out on the pitch after that draw and noone knew what it meant for a few minutes.

Yesterday's KK/Carlow draw puts Leinster final qualification back in Galway's own hands. 2win and in situation.

Yes I think ourselves, yourselves, Kilkenny and Dublin have it in our own hands. Whoever wins their remaining 2 games will definitely make a final.
At the same time if we all drop points I think Antrim could possibly make the final.

Nice to see that everyone is alive in both Leinster and Munster which means all the matches have meaning. Great for hurling fans.

Think the only 2 teams mathematically safe from relegation in Leinster are Kilkenny and Dublin.

It wasn't in Gslway's own hands to reach the Leinster Final, until KK drew with Carlow. Now it is, which is a boost for Galway.

You'd wonder how an iron willed winner like Derek Lyng can't instill the same je ne sais quoi into these KK players who drew with Carlow.. Have KK any young players at all to replace their auld fellas. Worrying times on Noreside. They didn't win the Walsh Cup either of course, or even meet the standard required to contest the final.

I think Wexford and Kilkenny can't both reach 7 points in the table now.

We should be making the Walsh Cup the centre piece of the hurling calendar. A crucial competition. Should be played in June/July.

No because we play eachother. Kilkenny can reach 8 points, while Dublin can reach 9 they play eachother also so both can't reach those figures.

Well then it's all to play for. It's the way it's supposed to be. Every match counts. Hon Galway!!!

I wonder if there's anyone out there who could provide us with answers to these pertinent questions?

Perhaps a recently retired journalist could provide us with some if we make it worth his while

Unless Kilkenny get Mullen and Cody back asap i can see the dubs overturning them at the weekend. Anything can happen this weekend in the 3 leinster games

It will be interesting to see the team Antrim field as while victory over us would be nice, should they lose, even narrowly, a result against Carlow is essential (assuming Wexford beat Carlow of course) or they will be relegated

You'd imagine anyone who is touch and go won't be risked v Galway if there is a chance they won't play against Carlow the following week

For sure. I wouldn't be falling off my seat in shock if I watch us lose up in Dr Cullen Park, or if ye lose up in Corrigan.
