Then last day out we play a kilkenny that will already be in a final. If both Wexford and Galway finish on 7 then wouldn't Wexford have the head to head unless there are more than 2 teams on head to head"
If Wexford beat Kilkenny and end up on 7 then Kilkenny will more than likely also be on 7 along with Galway.
Wexford will have beaten both so will be in the Leinster Final.
Then it's pts difference to sort out if it's Kilkenny or Galway. Think that the way it is.

No there weren't. There was only one fairly delusional poster who said Galway should win easily.
Everything else I've seen here said it could go either way. Anyone who follows Galway hurling would know that.

Galway were dire, shocking bad and will do well to reach the Leinster final. Wexford battled as they have done in the past when the chips were down but will need more to finish in the top 3. It was a poor match to be honest between two average teams. Kilkenny wont be losing any sleep as for Limerick and Clare they will be relishing playing either Wexford or Galway.

whats king henry's excuse now..
i was suppose the bus journey was tough going.

out of his depth..cant pick a team..
but if we are to be totally honest we have too many hurlers passed there best..
too slow to run/ react to the breaking ball..

for the second week in a row mannion was caught out for two points and his distribution was pathetic.
our defending from 15 back was non existant..

leaving a wexford a man free and we a man up is just unforgiveable but we deserved what we get
its just a shme it wasnt 15/20 points then questions would need to be asked by the county board but
we all no that wont happen.

we are going no where and thats ben the case for along time but they could at least play lads in there proper positions....

More like that there will be big pressure on the Antrim game also! Galway lack pace and can't win puckouts which was exposed badly today. I think Shefflin should now do the decent thing and depart bringing O'Shea and co. with him. The team have dipped badly in the last couple of years.

Good to see you have taken it well. Sorry we're were significantly better than you today, also didn't Kilkenny draw with Galway? Lost a lot of respect for Galway hurling after the comments about Wexford on this forum.

So are Wexford making progress?
Galway were so bad today......Laois, Offaly, Kerry and Westmeath would have beaten us.
Its like we had no interest whatsoever but Galway will rise and get better. Definitely expecting us to be in the All Ireland Semi Finals.

There were only a couple of Galway posters going on like that. Most of the yahoo comments were coming from Wexford plus a number of outside posters running down Galway hurlers. Fully agree that Galway were terrible today and could even be beaten by Antrim the next day out like Wexford were but there's only 1 thing worse than a bad loser and its a bad winner! Win with grace and stop the gloating as it could come back to bite ye later on.

That's the way it is Paul. If we win our next 2 games we will definitely be in the Leinster final. Hard luck to Galway ye have plenty to work on. Carlow away next up for us. Will be a hard game. They will play like savages.

You have still to go to Corrigan Park. If you play like that Antrim will beat you.

I'd be at least as worried about a good few of the lads in their prime, and specifically their lack of size and physicality, as I would be about the 'hurlers passed there best'.

Shefflin has had four years now and has just not delivered. Just because when your a great player does not make you a great manager.

As one poster said previously Davy Fitz was the man and I was 100% in favour of that.
We were terribly bad today but that doesn't make us a bad team.
Cathal Mannion was a massive loss today and would have made some difference but that's water under the bridge now.
We in Galway will get behind Henry and the lads and see what unfolds.

Conor Hearne for Wexford absolutely lorded it in midfield today.

He came out of every ruck and got on nearly every break.

Galway's midfield were cleaned out.

No one gloating, no Wexford supporter would that with our record but all the way through complete lacking respect shown towards Wexford. I'll worry about my county, only one in Leinster I'm interested in doing well

I can see Wexford v Kilkenny final.

I think Dublin will beat Galway, Galway must be one of the slowest teams in the Liam McCarthy.

Last week Wexford people were saying after their defeat to Antrim that Wexford deserved to be in the Joe Mc Cup now they are saying they can get to a Leinster Final after beating Galway.
