. Meath team named. That Meath team that will start v Tyrone has 9 changes to the Meath team that played v Donegal in the super 8s last July. Meaths full back line which was really good last year eg lavin, McGill Gallagher is pretty much gone. Meath have two debutants in the full back line eg Clarke Toner It looks like Meath have 6 or 7 injuries, all pretty much first team starters. So Meath are injured these players S Mcentee Lavin, Devine, Gallagher, Harnan, Newman. Lenihan was injured v laois, he is not named looks like he could be injured aslo , that would bring it up to 7 missing player.

Every side has players missing. We were decimated last season. Bit better this year although Peter Cooke (our best player against Mayo in the qualifiers) travelling for his career this season. Damo Comer not back to full fitness and Fintan O'Curraoin injured again unfortunately. A few more injured who made impact in recent years such as Ciaran Duggan. League will be up and down for us I reckon but think we will go far in the championship.

Shane Mc, Devine and Lenihan not certain starters for Meath. Tyrone without McShane, Donnelly Peter Harte to name just three. Best to focus on who we have, anything else looks like getting excuses in early.

I see what you did there.

Put forward a range of excuses early on. If you lose then its ah well we were missing this one and that one. If you win then it's like you are world beaters.

Good man yourself.

I never said that. Where do I say that. Meath had player 5 players who had surgery in last month. Meath have 6 or 7 players missing with injuries these are facts. Im just stating this fact. For any team that gets promoted to div 1 fron div 2. It would be a worry and concern of having so many injuries. Can I not mention that fact. If we lose we are beaten by the better team. If Tyrone beat us we are not good enough. If we dont stay in div 1 we are good enough. But so many injuries so many players having surgery when we are facing a very tough campaign in div 1 v the best teams in the country who have years of experience in div 1, can I not be concerned and worried about this situation about these injuries. If we did win. It doesnt mean we are world beaters. Its means our panel has improved from last year, thats all. But all it really means is we have 2 points on the board and we have 6 very tough games to come.

Couldn't of been as bad as the referees performance in the Dublin kerry game.

Two good games tonight, Kerry v Dublin a fair result while Donegal left to ponder how they didn't win. Great to have the really football back on our screens watching than those overpaid cry babies that are in the Premier league
