She hasn't adapted well to the anchor role at all.Maybe she'll improve.Who else is there as an alternative anchor for the Sunday game.If RTE want to stick with a woman,Evanne Ni Chuilinn might be good.

Well they aren't going to be critical of them that's for sure.

It's very poor now. Cantwell spends all her time trying to get one over on Brolly and the programme just doesn't work with her as presenter. She has no sense of humour whatsoever. I would bring Des Cahill in as presenter. Ulsterman (Antrim) - Posts: 9818 - 11/08/2019 11:34:41 2223880 Link 1 |

Brolly was very rude to Cantwell yesterday, their relationship is so toxic, the show is not working suckvalleypaddy (Galway) - Posts: 1738 - 11/08/2019 12:21:15 2223902 Link 1 |
Living in North Monaghan. Can no longer get RTÉ coverage. That says a lot about the station. They've cut off our Northern brethren and they have cut us off in doing so. border Gael (Monaghan) - Posts: 911 - 11/08/2019 12:45:27 2223919 Link 0 |

NO way , keep Dublin Dessie away from the gig anyway, he's always pushing Dublin agendas. Give Dara O'Cinneda the gig. He's brilliant and totally unbiased, he did a great job with séo spoirt . KingdomBoy1 (Kerry) - Posts: 14092 - 11/08/2019 13:04:32 2223930 Link 2 |
Dari O Cinniede would be the best one around to present i think. Whelan is a very good analyst and John Casey is quiet good on the radio. The whole thing needs a revamp. They should have a couple ex managers involved aswell like the hurling

He's looking at the greatest team to ever play the game, do you want him to be bitter and hateful to him like kerrymen are? And on the free, he was talking about his freetaking in general not that particular free achara (Monaghan) - Posts: 584 - 11/08/2019 13:40:45 2223944 Link 4 |

I have again switched over to Sky for commentary - fed up with RTE commentators saying every free for pulling and dragging is "for very little". Just call a spade a spade and if there is a lot of fouling name it. I hate the euphemism of "letting the game flow" when in fact it means ignoring blatant fouls. When your senior intercounty football career ends and you've a provincial medal, an All Star , played Compromise Rules and earned the respect of your peers give RTE a shout.....
