John Barron is the new Ferns St Aidan's hurling manager.

After a disappointing 2011, the club ratified the Glynn-Barntown clubman at their recent AGM.

A Wexford selector when Colm Bonnar was at the helm of the Model County, Barron was the unanimous choice to take over as new Ferns boss.

St Aidan's will be hoping to make a major impact in the forthcoming season as Barron sculpts a team to challenge for major honours. Tweet
